My name is Dibakar Bordoloi. I have done my Masters in Political Science from Gauhati University and completed my B.ED from Dibrugarh University. I have qualified both the NET (National Eligibility Test) and SLET (State Level Eligibility Test) which are mandatory for getting appointment as teacher in Indian college and universities. I am a techer by profession with eleven years of teaching experience. For the first time I worked as a teacher in a middle school named Bherbheri ME Madrasa located in a remote village (Bherbheri) of Nagaon district of Assam. However, Bherbheri is adjecent to Bardowa (formerly known as Batadrava), the birth place of Shri Shri Sankardeva who was the founder of Nav-Vaishnav Dharma in Assam. After that I was appointed as Graduate teacher in Swarupananda Vidyapith High School of Dibrugarh, Assam. For the cause of public interest, after seven months of my service in Swarupananda Vidyapith, the Assam Government had transferred me to Gopinath Bordoloi Memorial High School, Naoholia, Dibrugarh. After nine years of service there, on 7th of August, 2023 I have been transferred again to Madhupur HS School of Dibrugarh by the School Education Department of Assam. Now I have been working in this school since then.
As a teacher, I love teaching. I like interacting with my students very much. My areas of interest are teaching pedagogy, life skills, adolescence, guidance and counselling and positive psychology. I have kin interest in writing articles related to the area of teaching and learning. I have written a non-fiction book on life skills based on positive psychology. The name of the book is Aatmasachetanata, Aashabad Aaru Jeevanat Sukhi Howar Kavas which is composed in Assamese language. It was published by a popular publishing house 'Panchajanya Books' of Guwahati, Assam in December, 2020.
